FAQ

u

Where does your green waste come from?

We carefully work with landscape gardeners, school, universities and councils to receive green waste that is free from sprays and pesticides in order to maintain and control our organic product.

u

Do you add anything additional to your compost?

We don’t add anything additional to our composts – they are made entirely from nature to include rainwater that we collect, leaves, grass cuttings, small branches, etc. We do not add or use fertilizers of any kind.

u

How long does it take to make your compost?

We have created a natural method of making our compost that can take from 3 to 4 months.

u

Will I find 'weed seeds' in my compost?

At times you may find small clover or small growth in your compost that can easily be removed and/or will die off. As our compost is a ‘living’ compost and is full of not only nutrients and ‘living’ organisms in the form of microbes and worms/millipedes/black fly etc. We have found that anything that comes in contact with our compost, wants to grow.

Do you sell locally in a shop or only online?

We currently sell from our compost farm located in Woodstock near the airport (by appointment only at this time) however in addition to ordering online, please see a list of our stockists under the ‘About’ page –
